Befitting answer will be given if BNP makes insurgency for the sake of development: Quader

Awami League (AL) general secretary Obaidul Quader on Friday said moves will be made if BNP completes rebellion for the sake of development.

“Befitting answer will be given if BNP needs to get angles in grieved water by making issue for the sake of development,” he told the debut session of the national gathering of Awami Matsajibi (anglers) League at Krishibid Institution, Bangladesh (KIB) theater in the capital.

Quader, likewise the street transport and scaffolds serve, said BNP doesn’t submit to rules of law and court techniques.

“To make pressure on the court for the arrival of BNP director Begum Khaleda Zia, the gathering’s chiefs and laborers completed vandalism, propelled assaults on police and flung brickbats on the premises of court,” he included.

The AL general secretary asked the gathering heads and laborers to stay alert, saying intrigue is being incubated to foil the well known administration of Prime Minister Sheik Hasina.

About the Matsajibi League, Quader stated: “We don’t need any pioneer who will be engaged with blackmail. We need clean-picture initiative.”

Awami League Presidium Member Matia Chowdhury, Office Secretary Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap and Relief and Social Welfare Secretary Sujit Roy Nandi were available on the event, among others.

Matsajibi League Council Preparatory Committee convener Narayan Chandra Das directed the capacity. Later in the gathering session, Obaidul Quader reported the names of recently chose pioneers of Matsajibi League.

Md Saifur Rahman and Sheik Ajgar Laskar were chosen president and general secretary individually of the association.

Saidul Alam Manik was made the official president. VPs are Abul Bashar, Abdul Gafur, Mohammad Alam, Babul Miah, Mir Asaduzzaman, Shahe Alam Mia and Nasrin Sultana. Architect Abdul Alim, Tipu Sultan and Rafiqul Islam Rafiq were made joint general secretaries.

Prior toward the beginning of the day, the AL general secretary introduced the committee with the playing of the national hymn.
